    • Transfer von Ansätzen aus New York auf deutsche Quartiere: Erarbeite Konzepte und übertragbare Modelle für Quartiere in deiner Heimatstadt, inspiriert von Beobachtungen und Recherchen in New York. Untersuche Negativbeispiele der Gentrifizierung.
  • 5 ECTS für Studierende der Verbundsstudiengänge im Fachbereich WIrtschaft und Medien:
    • Historie und Dokumentation in Filmform oder Hörbuch-Feature
    • Bereite die Reise vor, erforsche die Geschichte und dokumentiere die Exkursion in einem Film oder als Podcast/Hörbuch.

Pre-research:
  • Familiarise yourself with migration, history and neighbourhood development in NY before the trip.
  • Analyse actors and stakeholders with a focus on social sustainability, gentrification, climate resilience and alternative economic models.

Credit points:
  • 1 - 3 ECTS for AMD bachelor and Ecosign bachelor students:
    • Transfer approaches from New York to German neighbourhoods: Develop concepts and transferable models for neighbourhoods in your hometown, inspired by observations and research in New York. Examine negative examples of gentrification.
  • 5 ECTS for students on bachelor Economics and Media degree programs:
    • History and documentation in film or audio book form
    • Prepare for the trip, research the history and document the excursion in a film or audio book.
  • If you are a Master student, we can find out if credits can be awarded
