Python is a simple, yet flexible and powerful programming language. Simple syntax and a multitude of modules make it one of the most popular languages in business and research worldwide.
It is a universal, commonly interpreted, high level programming language. It aims to promote a legible, concise programming style. For example, blocks are not structured with curly brackets, but with indentations.
In this introductory course, the environment for efficient development is set up and basics such as control flow, variables, functions and Python-typical peculiarities such as dictionaries and functional programming are dealt with. At the end of the course you will have an initial overview of the most important functions and there will be enough time for Q&A at the end of the course.
