The Master's Weeks are a short program specifically tailored to the needs of our Master students. The program is rounded off by cultural activities. This gives Master's students (and alumni) the opportunity to deepen their knowledge within a very short time, gain valuable international experience and spend an exciting time in a business metropolis.
In New York one of the two possible modules is Leadership and Management. It entails examing leadership concepts and methods between the paradigms of strategic management, systematic leadership theory and new leadership methods. Where are the traditions of strategic management still visible today? What is the significance of systematic leadership theory for the leadership and motivation of employees? How effective are new leadership methods? And how can leadership concepts and strategies be developed and evaluated in a constantly changing, complex environment? These are precisely the questions that the one-week Master's Week - Leadership and Management explores.
