German as a FOREIGN Language A1 Part 1 (Intensive)

Course period
- This course takes place from 10 February - 15 February, each day from 9:10 am - 12:20 pm.
- Please only register if you can attend ALL course days!
Course information:
- 24 teaching units with compulsory attendance, at least 70%
- If you take part in the course for the entire period and pass the exam, you will receive a graded certificate.
- Take an active part and turn on your camera and microphone.
- Language courses take time - don't overestimate yourself!
- Why an intensive course? Our intensive courses are perfect for you if you want to learn a language quickly or improve your language skills because of the small learning groups. This is perhaps the biggest advantage of an intensive course: the fast learning pace allows you to reach a level that would otherwise take you much longer.
Course content:
This class focuses on:
- Times of day, seasons and clocks
- Greetings, making appointments
- Talking about hobbies, family, jobs and work
- Means of transport, asking for directions
- Shopping, going to a restaurant
- Modal verbs + infinitive
- Decision questions/W-questions
- Regular, irregular and separable verbs
In this course, the textbook Studio 21 is used. Please have the course book (either in book form or copies) ready on the first day of the course. There is a copy of the textbook in the library at the Düsseldorf and Cologne locations. Please note that this may only be a reference copy, which may only be used as a photocopy and may not be borrowed
There are no previous language skills required for this language course.
- Be sure to note down the course period, time and day.
- You will receive the access link a few days before the course starts.
- Please deregister via StudyPLUS (cancellation button) no later than three days BEFORE the start of the course if you are NOT able to participate.
- Also deregister if you have the course on your watch list - only vacant places can be filled.
- Do you arrive later on a course day or do you have to leave earlier? Then please inform the lecturers.
- Unexcused absences can lead to inferior treatment in offers.
